Notes

Over millions of years, a rock was formed in the Baden basin, in the Roman quarry of Würenlos near Zurich, which today is mined, purified, refined and processed into flour-fine powder for therapeutic purposes. In 1942, the well-known Swiss naturopath Emma Kunz (1892-1963) discovered this healing rock formed 24 million years ago and its versatile therapeutic applications.

About the story

In 1941, the initiator and former center director, Anton C. Meier, fell ill with severe polio. In connection with his illness, Emma Kunz gave the healing rock the name "AION A". The term "aion" comes from the Greek and means boundless. With this, Emma Kunz pointed to the universal therapeutic possibilities of her find. According to Emma Kunz, the enormously strong healing effect, which was first demonstrated in the healing of Anton C. Meier, is not based solely on the special mineral composition of Aion A, but above all on the biodynamic energy stored in it.

It is very effective in the treatment of all kinds of inflammatory processes. Emma Kunz demanded: "The universal power of Aion A must be made accessible to people." Since then, many doctors, alternative practitioners and therapists have responded to her call with great success. Thus, Aion A therapy has become an indispensable aid for many people, for example, in rheumatic ailments, all sports injuries, affections of muscle, tendon and connective tissue.

Fields of application

"Externally as a supportive measure"

  • rheumatic diseases
  • joint and muscle pains
  • nerve pain, ischialgia, lumbago
  • sports injuries like sprains, bruises, strains, tendonitis
  • minor burns
  • insect bites
  • minor skin inflammations
  • local itching

The Best Way to Apply

Moist poultice

Once to several times a day, as needed.

Aion A is applied in a container made of glass, clay or porcelain with 3 parts of Aion A and 2 parts of water by means of enclosed wooden spatula to a thick paste directly on the desired part of the body or first put it on a moistened cloth made of cotton or linen and then put it on the place to be treated. Cover with a thick cloth and, in the case of joints, fix lightly with a bandage. Wraps are always applied around a joint or around the neck and should be completely spread with Aion A.

Cold application

For fresh swellings, sprains, dislocations, strains, bruises, tendonitis and also for minor, minor burns and insect bites, Aion A is applied cold, preferably first put in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, possibly tie an ice pack over the poultice.

Warm application

For chronic "joint and muscle rheumatism" or "nerve pain" ischialgia lumbago. Put Aion A in a pre-warmed - hot rinsed - container, mix with warm water and apply as warm as possible.

In addition, a hot water bottle or heat pack can be used.

Please refer to the note under "When should caution be taken when using Aion A?". In case of doubt, whether cold or warm application and in case of sensitivity to cold, Aion A is recommended as a body-warm overlay.

The duration of application is 20 minutes for acute cases and 30 minutes for chronic diseases. It should be applied several times a day in acute cases and over a longer period of time in chronic diseases. In case of longer application, e.g. overnight, Aion A is prepared with vegetable oil instead of water (e.g. olive oil, sesame oil, wheat germ oil). This prevents the paste from drying out.

Dry application

Once or several times a day, as needed. This type of application is often sufficient for mild pain of a rheumatic nature, such as low back pain due to draught, sciatica, lumbago, but also for mild skin inflammation or light, small-area sunburn. Carefully spread the dry Aion A on the painful area and leave it covered with a cloth for 1 - 2 hours. Often dry rubbing a thin layer of Aion A by hand is sufficient.

Partial and full bath

These forms of application have a particularly relaxing effect and stimulate the circulation of the whole organism.

Aion A baths support poultices and compresses.

Partial bath

For targeted treatment of the diseased parts of the body.

approx. 38 °C

10 - 15 minutes with approx. 20 g Aion A.

Full bath

For rheumatic diseases of all kinds, but not for acute inflammatory attacks.

approx. 38 °C

20 minutes with approx. 50 g Aion A.

Apply Aion A body cream evenly over the entire body and massage gently.

The Best Way to Apply Turn on the faucet and wet the poultice wrap with warm or cold water and squeeze it gently. Then wrap the desired joint or neck with the poultice all around. Self-adhesive bandages or a cotton towel are excellent for fixing a joint wrap. The poultice can also be used as a support. Place the poultice diagonally on top of each other and let it act on the desired area or, depending on the desired size, divide the wrap in the middle with scissors. For a spinal treatment, place the poultice vertically along its entire length. The poultice should be left on for 20 - 30 minutes. Throw the wrap and any used fixation bandages in the garbage after use. Tips If necessary, you can cut the wrap in the middle seam with scissors. In this way, 6 long finished wraps become 12 shorter wraps. Cotton towels should be washed after each application.
